Crafting sentences

Sentence Framing

Sentences are meaningful expressions made from one or more words. Just as sounds combine to express a meaningful word, words combine to create a meaningful sentence.

Sanskrit sentence structure:

Unlike the English language pattern in which the subject comes. First, the verb appears in the middle, and the object comes last (SVO in short), Sanskrit is anSOV grammatical structure.

For example:

Three boys areplayingfootball.
          Subject    Verb       Object

त्रयः बालकाः  पादकन्दुकं  क्रीडन्ति
       Subject  Object   Verb
