विधेरज्ञानेन द्रविणविरहेणालसतया, विधेयाशक्यत्वात् तवचरणयोर्याच्युतिरभूत्।
O Loving Mother, ensuring redemption to all afflicted, I know not how to worship. Neither have I resources nor temperament-for I am callous by nature-nor the special knowledge to conduct thy worship. But in rendering service unto you if I have committed any lapses or mistake-forgive me Mother ! For there could be a bad son but never a bad mother ! तदेतत् क्षन्तव्यं जननि सकलोद्धारिणि शिवे, कुपुत्रो जायेत क्वचिदपि कुमाता न भवति।।
